Season of Peace goes web 2.0

August 26th, 2006

It’s called “web 2.0″, and it’s a new shift in website management. No longer do you have static sites that stay the same month after month. Today, it’s about blogging and podcasting and capturing the moment. It’s about dynamic content.

So, the Season of Peace website has made the shift. We are now 2.0. So, post your comments. Share your thoughts and let’s overcome this giant enemy called fear.

The Season of Peace Podcasts

Today, I recorded more podcasts for the Season of Peace podcasts. I wrote the messages quite awhile back, but I’m enjoying revisiting them audibly. It gives them a new perspective. I even produced one of them for a sermon messsage. It turned out pretty cool.

If you are listening to the podcast, please let me know. I don’t have a realiable way of tracking the listeners, so I don’t know who’s listening, if anyone. Maybe I’m a lone voice in the wilderness. :)

worm poop

September 6th, 2003

Just to let you know, we were hit pretty hard with the worm that blew through most Windows machines. The site has been pretty messed up. We switched to Linux servers and things, I believe, are working. If not, please let me know.

Website: Exciting things are happening at Season of Peace! The website ministry continues to grow. I constantly receive encouraging emails from people. God is truly working in people’s lives. I hear almost everyday in people’s messages.

Book: I’ve completed the manuscript for the Season of Peace Devotional. It’s 100 short stores (based on the weekly messages). Each message is followed with three discussion questions and a prayer. I’ve sought out publishers, but because I am not a well-known author, it’s been a difficult path. I’ve decided to pursue the self-publishing route at this moment unless something else comes along.

Ministry: I’m in the final stages of incorporating Season of Peace into a non-profit organization. I’m working with a local lawyer from my church, and he’s helping me with the legal stuff. If all goes as planned, Season of Peace will be a full non-profit company in a few months. Please pray with me.
