Regarding sickness, I read somewhere that 80% of most sickness don’t have a specific cause. It’s those illness that I believe we can bring upon ourselves through what we believe or don’t believe.

And, I am smack dab in the middle of this myself. I have a condition called hypothyroidism that is triggered by an autoimmune condition, which basically means my body is attacking itself. My body considers my thyroid a threat and is sending white blood cells to attack the organ. There is no known cause for this condition, but I’ve read some stories about people who have this condition are often people who have a hard time forgiving themselves. Well, that’s me.

I’m learning more and more to forgive myself as God forgives me. And, I believe that when I have come to place of total forgiveness towards myself, that my body will respond by not attacking itself.

Yes, we focused on living foods and non-processed foods. It was wonderful!

Jessica, I’m sorry to hear about your experience with panic attacks. I’ve been to the ER a few times myself, and it’s not fun. But, you are right–the devil is a liar, and you will overcome. I believe with all my heart that freedom is available to anyone who wants it. Fight the good fight of faith!
  • The Power Within
I can understand. I’ve worried about my family and their safety as well. I would encourage you to pray, because even with all your power and strength, you cannot protect them. But, God can. He says he will command his angels to keep us safe.

I’m sorry to hear about what you’re going through. I know it’s gotta be hard. I want to encourage you that you can get through this. I know you can! It sounds like the enemy has been pounding you with lies and shame. Let me encourage you to check into this really amazing book called Free Yourself, Be Yourself. It’s a book about understanding at shame works in our life to destroy every area, like peace, marriage, sexuality, etc. I think you would find the truths very, very encouraging.

    Praying for you this morning.

Russ, thank you for beginning your series on freedom. I’m looking forward to it. I can’t help but wonder how many of us with panic disorder don’t understand how much God loves us. I think there can be many reasons why we don’t grasp His love and grace. However, when we continue to focus on our panic attacks and our symptoms, and not God, we stumble. Been doing it for years. If we can learn to abide in Him and rest during our panic and not fight it, that certainly helps. Praise God you are free Russ!

I know I have a hard time understanding and accepting God’s love for me. I pray this series will help me to be able to have a better grasp on it. I know it holds me back from the peace & joy God wants me to have. Thank you.

Russ, I am glad to come upon your website and read your message. I know GOD guide me to your message. Almost a month ago, I was in a battle of fighting the panic attack that attacked me in the middle of the night. After praying for revealing for couple of days, it was the devil that came to attacked me because they were trying to provoke me from preaching the Good News to my sister and yes– glory to GOD, my sister has just accepted Christ! It was a long battle –although it ended 1 couple of days ago, but I have to say that the fight of Faith brought me closer to GOD and His Words. I’m glad to come across your message because it reminds me to stay in Faith and reminds me to be strong and courageous! Jesus overcame the world and we can overcome anything, in Jesus Name! May GOD bless you always!
